In the year of 1287, the army of the grate Kublai khan attacked to Bagan Empire of Myanmar(Burma). After defeated at battle Ngasaung Chan, the Bagan army was again defeated at battle of Bamaw and battle of Manlae Mountain.
Then the Mongol army was take position at a place called "Tayokemaw" and that's why the king of Bagan Empire, King Nayathihapatae was abandon Pagan city and run to Lower Myanmar.
Mongol army was occupy really easily to Bagan and they were ready to occupy the whole county wide. At that time, the Buddhist Monk who live at Bagan who call "Ashin Ditharparmouk" was meet with the great Kublai Khan and preaching about peace. That's why, the great Kublai Khan was ordered to his army not to arrest King Nayathihapatae of Bagan. Coincidentally, war of Mongol and Japan was started at the time and the great Kublai Khan was decided to stop attacking the whole Myanmar(Burma)
When the time Mongol were busy with Japan, the three brothers of Shan took the throne form the last king of Bagan and divided the whole country into three urban state. After these states were strength up, they decided to face with Mongol again. At that time, the Mongol army was build a huge fortress and stay at a place called "Tagaung". The son of the last king of Bagan Empire who was want to get throne decided to join with Mongol and he thought that Mongol will help him to take throne from the three brothers of Shan. Because of that , the three state were full attacked to Mongol's fortress at the year of 1300.
Because of suddenly attacked, the Mongol army where located at "Yunan" was combine with "Tagaung" fortress and attacked back to three states at 22 June 1300. But the mighty Mongol army faced the new enemy. When the war was started at the season of rain and the rain was the was the biggest problem and barrier for Mongol soldier. And they face with Malaria at the strange battle field at Myanmar(Burma) forest. The army of three state knew about this natural barrier and they were decided to kill Mongol at this Dangerous Zone. And also the army of three states make Guerrilla warfare and killed one by one to Mongol.
But they can't stop easily to Mighty Mongol army. At the year of January 1301, the Mongol army was surrounded to one state called "Myinsai". But unfortunately, the Myinsai state is the most power state of the three state. It's fortress was really strong and the soldier were full with training to kill their enemy. When Mongol were surrounded to Myinsai, the other two state were started attacking to Mongol and try to capture Mongol army from three battle field. The battle of three army and mighty Mongol army was rought as hell. The battle of Myinsai was long into 4 Months. At the year of April 1301, the Mongol army retreated from battle decided and gave up their dreams to capture the whole Myanmar(Burma). They can only try to resist from their own fortress. When the great Kublai was passed away, the Mongol empire was divided into 4 great nations and the Mongol army was completely left from the battle of Myanmar(Burma).
Because of this battle of Myinsai, the whole nation was escaped from Mongol and this is how Burmese escaped form Chinese hand.
